Welcome to website of the IELTS Centre at the University of Auckland
The University of Auckland English Language Academy is an accredited IELTS test centre and New Zealand's largest provider of the IELTS Examination. The IELTS centre is also responsible for testing in the Pacific.
The test is taken across 135 countries by over 1,700,000 candidates with more than 7,000 educational institutions, government agencies and professional organisations around the world recognising IELTS scores as a valid indicator of ability to communicate in English.
All tertiary institutions in New Zealand, Australia, Canada and the UK accept the IELTS scores as an entry requirement. IELTS is also accepted by over 1,000 tertiary institutes and professional organisations in the USA.
