IELTS Preparation at ELA
The ELA provides IELTS preparation courses:
- ELA students studying the Academic modules can choose the IELTS preparation course as an afternoon option.
- Part-time evening courses (4 weeks) or Saturday-morning courses (4 weeks) are open to all candidates.
Evening Class Option
This four-week course is run four days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The course is 2 hours per day between 5:30pm-7:30pm.
Option One (NZ$540)
- Tuition for Preparation Course only
- Free access to the ELA state-of-the-art Study Centre, available 7 days per week for the duration of the course, plus an additional 2 weeks after the course is completed.
Option Two (NZ$875)
- Tuition for Preparation Course (NZ$490)
- Free access to the ELA state-of-the-art Study Centre, available 7 days per week for the duration of the course, plus an additional 2 weeks after the course is completed.
- $385 IELTS Examination Fee
- IELTS test completed in one day

Saturday Class Option
This four-week course is run on Saturdays from 9am-1pm. The course is subject to minimum numbers.
