Last weekend, ELA students from City University of Hong Kong set off on an unforgettable journey to Rotorua, led by ELA teachers. From exploring natural wonders to experiencing rich cultural traditions, the trip was packed with memorable moments and first-time experiences!

The adventure began with a walk through the Waitomo Glowworm Caves, where students were amazed by the sparkling lights of nature. That evening, they learnt about Māori culture at Mitai Māori Village, enjoying a traditional Hangi dinner, a cultural performance, and even spotting glowworms during a forest walk.

Day two brought more excitement as students wandered through the towering Redwoods, admired the region's beautiful lakes, and got hands-on at the Agrodome Farm Show. From watching expert sheep shearers at work to feeding baby lambs, it was a heartwarming and educational experience for the group.
