PM Welcomes International Students Back

Update: 15 September 2022

This month, the Prime Minister welcomed international students back to Aotearoa New Zealand at a function at the University of Auckland's Unleash Space.

Two of our ELA students - Kyeongmin from Korea and Fuki from Japan were invited to attend this special event.

Kyeongmin was presented with a Tu Ngatahi lapel pin by the Minister of Education. He is currently studying Academic English at ELA and intends to study his Master in Bio Medical Science at the University of Auckland in the future.

Both Kyeongmin and Fuki told us they felt honoured to be invited to such a great event and to have a chance to meet our PM Jacinda Ardern, Education Minister Chris Hipkins, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Auckland Professor Dawn Freshwater, and Education New Zealand (ENZ) Chief Executive Grant McPherson!
